Dutch emergency centres start accepting eCall alerts

The Dutch government announced that emergency services call centres will be able to accept eCalls from 01 April. From the same date all new cars sold in the EU are required to include the eCall system for automatically transmitting a car's location to the emergency services in the event of an accident.
