Dutch employers group calls for more ICT in primary schools

The Dutch employers association VNO-NCW and industry group Nederland ICT have called for ICT to be included in standard primary school lessons. They want the next government to do more to support the development of the digital economy, including developing the necessary skills. More can be done also at secondary and post-secondary levels as well to support the use of computers and digital communications, the groups said, including working closely with employers to provide potential employees with the skills needed in the market.
