Dutch fibre operators warn of limited 5G backhaul capacity

The Fiber Carrier Association has warned of potential problems for 5G network backhaul due to gaps in fibre network coverage in the Netherlands. The fibre roll-out to date has focused largely on households and more needs to be done to ensure fibre is available for 5G backhaul everywhere, so businesses can take advantage of the new networks and IoT services, a report from the industry group said.
