Dutch fixed line use declines further, nearly quarter rarely make calls

Use of fixed lines in the Netherlands continues to fall, according to the latest research by Telecompaper Consumer Insights. Only 17 percent of Dutch consumers said they used their fixed line to make calls daily in Q3 2018, down from 23 percent a year earlier. The share who make calls less than once a month grew over the past year to 11 percent from 8 percent.
