Dutch fixed telephony connections drop to less than 6 mln in Q2, Ziggo still largest player

The number of digital telephony (VoIP) lines fell by 0.7 percent to 5.49 million, 37,000 fewer than in Q1. The number of PSTN/ISDN/WLR lines meanwhile decreased by 5.4 percent to less than 470,000. It is the fifth quarter in a row that digital telephony lines declined, in addition to traditional telephony lines.
