Dutch fixed telephony revenues decline over 10% to EUR 208 mln in Q1

Wednesday 19 June 2019 | 15:16 CET | News
The study attributed the decrease in revenues to fewer fixed lines in the Netherlands. The total number of lines fell by 1.9 percent over the quarter to 5.64 million connections. The fall was due to a decline in the number of digital telephony (VoIP) lines of 1.5 percent from the previous quarter. The number of digital lines went to 5.24 million, 79,000 less than at the end of 2018, while the number of PSTN/ISDN/WLR lines fell by 6.4 percent quarter-on-quarter to 393,000.
