Dutch government working on emergency law to use telecom network data

The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) wants to make it possible to use telecom data to track the covid-19 outbreak through an emergency law. With strict limits and set goals, the government hopes in this way to overcome any objections associated with using the data. The emergency law will first goes to the Council of State for advice and then to the lower house of Parliament.
