Dutch govt adds ICT sector to list of vital processes

The ICT sector in the Netherlands can continue working in the event of a lockdown to halt the spread of coronavirus, according to the industry platform Digitale Infrastructuur Nederland (DINL). Following discussions with the economic affairs ministry, telecom and IT were labeled category B vital processes, meaning a disruption to the services would have serious social and economic effects.
