Dutch govt agrees personal data protection audits with Microsoft

The Dutch government announced an agreement with Microsoft to ensure the software giant is living up to the requirements of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. This follows a preliminary agreement at the end of 2018 to bring Microsoft software up to date with the GDPR, after discovering violations in how its Office software collects user data.
