Dutch govt calls for attention to human rights in AI, algorithms

The use of AI and algorithms must protect fundamental and human rights, Dutch Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Kajsa Ollongren wrote in response to parliamentary questions from D66 member Lisa van Ginneken. MP Van Ginneken wants the European Commission to introduce a mandatory human rights assessment for AI regulation.
