Dutch govt 'cautiously positive' on EC telecom proposals

The Dutch government said it will give a "cautiously positive" response to the European Commission's proposed telecoms legislation when EU telecom ministers meet on 05 December, the Dutch minister Henk Kamp said in a letter to parliament. The EC's proposals on consumer protection and net neutrality are largely in line with the Dutch government's view, and the Dutch minister will work to ensure the EU net neutrality rules are in line with the legislation passed in the Netherlands last year, Kamp said.
