Dutch govt maintains mobile radiation norms

The Dutch government has decided not to take any additional measures to tighten health regulations on the use of mobile phones, state secretary Wilma Mansveld told parliament. This follows advice from the Health Commission in June, which found that there was no evidence for an increased risk of brain tumours from mobile phones. However, as there is no research available covering a period longer than 13 years, a long-term effect cannot be ruled out.
