Dutch govt moves forward with coronavirus apps

The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) is organizing a digital event, an appathon, on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April to test and improve the operation of new coronavirus (covid-19) apps. Followin g a selection procedure, seven app builders were selected. Via the hackathon, the ministry wants to invite developers to watch and talk about the source code. The Dutch Data Protection Authority AP will also assess the apps.
