Dutch govt opens way for self-driving car tests

The Dutch cabinet has approved new rules aimed at making easier to conduct tests of self-driving cars and vehicles in the country. The responsible minister, Melanie Schultz van Haegen announced the plans last year. Various parties have already expressed interest in testing the vehicles in the Netherlands, and a first test will start next month in Zwolle with self-driving lorries.
