Dutch govt plans DTT auction 4 July

Monday 11 April 2016 | 15:38 CET | News
The Dutch government plans to auction a new licence for the DTT network on 04 July. The ministry of economic affairs gave the date in response to questions from parliament about the plans, amid concerns the continuity of DTT service needs to be assured ahead of the expiry of the current licence next year. The ministry said it aims to publish a full statement on the auction plans in mid-April, including details of the tender. Applications will be accepted from 25 April to 17 May, and at least two weeks prior to the auction participants will be notified of all the details.
