Dutch govt publishes study on costs for 12-digit 06 number series

The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has commissioned research into the costs of implementing 12-digit 06 number series. Given the occupancy rate of current 06 number blocks available for allocation (91% of the capacity of 60 million numbers), there is a risk of scarcity in the long term, especially if the destination of these number series gets expanded. The costs for implementing a 12-digit 06 number are estimated at EUR 17.5- 19.5 million.
