Dutch govt starts public awareness campaign on updating device security

The Dutch government started a public awareness campaign called 'Do your updates', encouraging consumers to update their smart devices often in order to avoid security risks. Research by the Telecom Agency found that less than half of users of devices such as smart TVs, smart lighting, smartwatches, digital doorbells and smart thermostats have them secured.
