Dutch govt still working on slamming response

The Dutch ministry of economic affairs said it's still assessing the problem of slamming before coming up with a response. In a response to MPs questions, the ministry said the regulator ACM conducted an analysis of the problem in December last year and in March published template letters for providers wanting to reverse a contract switched through slamming. Both the old and new providers need to be contacted. However, the ACM cannot help victims directly, as it involves a contract between two private companies. The minister said the industry is in talks to update its agreements from 2007 on
