Dutch govt supports most of EC Digital Single Market plan

The Dutch government has welcomed most of the European Commission's points in its Digital Single Market plans, according to a letter from the cabinet sent to parliament. While the Dutch government supports the general aim of strengthening the internal market, it noted that there is a lack of clarity still in some parts of the proposal. On improving online access to goods and services, the cabinet welcomed plans to update copyright rules, strengthen the e-commerce sector and improve consumers' position.
