Dutch grab smartphones more, tablets less, except for streaming content

The smartphone is increasingly being used for activities that more often took place on the tablet, according to the latest study from GfK. People are making more use of the internet, email, social media, banking and making online purchases (light) from their smartphone and less from their tablet.The smartphone is also increasingly being used in new ways, such as as a mobile access card, with 21 percent using their device for this in 2017, from 13 percent in 2015.
