Dutch intelligence questioned over information sharing

The Dutch state intelligence service AIVD has had access to information from the US government's secret information-gathering programme Prism, reports De Telegraaf, citing unnamed sources at the intelligence service. Dutch companies have reportedly also furnished customer information on request. The opposition parties SP, D66 and PvdA have called for the government to answer to Parliament over the alleged involvement of national intelligence agencies in collecting private information online. The party Groen Links said the government should also be more open over what the AIVD may and may not
