Dutch less concerned about cloud storage privacy

The Dutch are increasingly less concerned about storing their data in the cloud. In thepast four years, the share who said they're worried about the privacy of data stored in the cloud fell by 11 percent points to 46 percent, according to figures from the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. The share unconcerned about cloud data storage increased over the same period from 13 percent to 17 percent. The trend appears to contrast with the growing number of data breaches reported at both companies and among private individuals. It may be the result of growing familiarity and acceptance of cloud

It is not in contrast witth the fact that most data breaches took place in old legacy systems, managed on premiseor in small private datacenters and not in safe / modern public cloud installations.
