Dutch mobile operators add 763 LTE sites in April

Dutch mobile operators added a net 762 new antennas to their networks in April, for a total 30,613, according to the national Antenna Bureau. The operators accelerated their LTE roll-out, adding 763 new sites in April compared to 213 in March. Only four UMTS and three GSM 1,800 sites were added in the month, while the number of GSM 900 antennae was reduced by eight. In total, there were 4,466 LTE sites, 12,700 UMTS antennas, 9,803 GSM 900 sites and 3,644 GSM 1,800 stations at the end of April.
