Dutch mobile operators still mulling smart home market

Dutch mobile operators have yet to develop plans for smart home services, according to a survey by Telecompaper. KPN said it was "certainly" looking at new applications in ICT and telecom, but declined to give details on potential new services. Vodafone also said it was following market developments and looking at the possibilities, but had nothing concrete to announce at the moment. T-Mobile pointed to developments at its parent company Deutsche Telekom, which operates the smart home platform Qivicon.
