Dutch mobile shoppers want speed, security - study

Dutch consumers expect shopping online to be fast and safe, according to a study by Akamai Technologies among 200 Dutch consumers aged 28-65. While mobile shopping is still not yet commonplace, expectations are often high. Sites whose pages are slow to load, are also slower to raise their revenues. The study, covering April, indicated that almost 40 percent of the Dutch expect their smartphone shopping experience to be as fast or faster on their mobile handset than via their desktop or laptop.
