Dutch MPs call for independent commission to check govt intervention in telecom takeovers

The Dutch parliament has suspended a planned vote on legislation giving the government increased powers to vet takeovers in the telecom sector. In a debate of the bill on 22 April, MPs called for the addition of an independent commission to evaluate the government decisions.
