Dutch MPs question govt over security of Chinese ICT suppliers

The Dutch liberals party VVD has asked the government for an opinion over whether ICT equipment from Chinese suppliers poses a threat to national security. The questions from the VVD's parliamentary fraction follow the US government banning its agencies from using equipment from Chinese suppliers such as Huawei and ZTE. The US also targeted Hytera, which is a supplier of the Dutch public services radio network C2000.
