Dutch network operators face new security, reporting requirements

The Telecom Agency in the Netherlands announced that it has started enforcing the new law on network and information security. Based on the EU directive of the same name, the law requires providers of digital and essential services to take measures to protect their networks and IT systems and report any serious security incidents to the authorities.
