Dutch operators found compliant with no more data retention

Almost all Dutch operators are meeting their obligations to delete customer data retained under previous legislation, according to a statement from the economic affairs ministry to parliament. The data retention obligations were overturned by a court ruling in March 2015, and since then the operators have stopped collecting the information. The Telecom Agency has checked whether they destroyed the previous data, and the biggest operators KPN, Ziggo, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Tele2 were all found to be compliant.
