Dutch parliament does not want operators to retain or share coronavirus data

It is unlikely that Dutch telecom providers will have to pass on customer data to the government in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. As the Netherlands waits for new elections and subsequent new government, the standing parliamentary committee for Economic Affairs and Climate has determined what subjects should not be touched until there is a new coalition. The outgoing cabinet will not make major new laws, but will continue to deal with current cases.
