Dutch Parliament wants sharper demands for 5G

Dutch Parliament is calling on the government to set stricter requirements for companies developing 5G and other critical infrastructure. A motion on the subject was adopted on April 23. The Lower Chamber asked the government to tighten up security requirements for critical (digital) infrastructure such as 5G in order to limit unsafe foreign influences, as much as possible. Concerns include possible espionage via 5G networks, including via the physical equipment of networks.
