Dutch Parliament working on how to screen foreign investments

The Lower Chamber of the Dutch Parliament is working on the implementation law for new EU rules on screening direct foreign investments. The Regulation (EU) 2019/452, passed in March 2019, establishes a framework for the screening of foreign direct investments in the Union, expanding the rules to more industries, beyond existing policies for the energy and telecom sectors in the Netherlands.
