Dutch political parties call for govt to combat fake news

Dutch political parties D66 and CDA said they have jointly submitted a number of proposals to make the Netherlands more resilient to public opinion influence by foreign actors. The two parties noted the case of the US, where Russia has been accused of fomenting dissent on social media. D66 and CDA have proposed a package of measures to be considered during the budget meetings at Interior Affairs.
