Dutch privacy watchdog to focus on business profiling

The Dutch Data Protection Authority announced that it will focus in 2017 on the implementation of the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The regulation takes effect from 25 May 2018 across the EU, and the Dutch regulator will work on helping businesses and organisations to implement the new rules. Other priorities in its 2017 agenda include profiling, special personal data and security of personal data.
