Dutch regulator also calls for free router choice

Dutch regulator ACM said it has received many comments from consumers about the government's decision to allow users to connect any compatible device for service, with free choice for routers and modems. In the wake of all these comments, the ACM has asked everyone to comment on the internet consultation opened up on the Dutch government site. ACM cites different advantages to the rule; telecom providers have expressed concern about security.
