Dutch regulator holds off on Nokia spam fine

The Dutch regulator ACM has held off on issuing a fine for sending spam to Nokia. While a number of complaints were received about SMS spam on mobile phones, the ACM said it was not able to confirm Nokia was responsible. As the regulator suspects the spam came from abroad, it has asked its counterparts in Finland and Belgium to look into the matter.
