Dutch regulator issues more fines in 2019, to ease supervision amid coronavirus outbreak

Dutch regulator ACM imposed 18 fines on companies and managers last year, for a total amount of just under EUR 17 million, according to the agency's annual report. The total is a significantly higher than the year before's EUR 620,000, for three fines together. ACM board chairman Martijn Snoep said the regulator will likely be less strict amid the coronavirus crisis.
