Dutch seniors more interested in smart devices

Dutch seniors are more interested in the Internet of Things and using an increasing number of smart devices at home, according to a survey by the group SeniorWeb. Around 45 percent of over-50s who use the internet have one or more smart devices at home. The smart TV is the most common (33%), while 15 percent already have a smart thermostat or energy meter. Other devices such as smart health devices, smartwatches, smart home systems and smart wristbands are much less common, but two-thirds of those surveyed said they are interested in knowing more about smart devices.
