Dutch upper house questions net neutrality amendment

The upper house of the Dutch parliament has questioned measures by the lower house to strengthen net neutrality legislation. The lower house earlier adopted amendments to the Telecommunications Law in order to implement the EU net neutrality rules. Members of the VVD, CDA and PVV parties in the upper house questioned the amendment adopted that requires the government to design further rules through an administrative order. The VVD liberal party said this would mean putting a national cap on the EU rules and could create problems by sidelining the independent regulators ACM and Berec, which
