DVB starts work on standards to deliver TV over internet

Digital broadcasting standards group DVB has set up a new working group to develop commercial requirements for standalone linear TV services delivered over broadband internet. The terms of reference for the new DVB CM-I group for DVB-I (for internet) were agreed at the recent 80th DVB Commercial Module meeting, and a full presentation of the plans will be given at the DVB World show in Warsaw later this month.
