E-mail marketing continues to succeed
E-mail marketing campaigns have enjoyed an increased click-through rate of 9.6% in Q3-2003, compared to 9.2% previously, despite the growing threat to the sector caused by unwanted spam messages, according to DoubleClick. The increased click-through rates reflect the fact that companies are being forced to adapt their e-mail marketing practices in order to combat the issue of spam.
