E-Plus-O2 merger possibility for new operator - BNA

The merger between E-Plus and Telefonica Germany opens the market for a new mobile operator according to the president of German network operator Bna Jochen Homann in an interview with German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He could see that spectrum that will no longer be used by E-Plus and O2 after the merger would be reserved for a newcomer calling the conditions of the merger between 3 Austria and Orange Austria as example. In Germany, the licences for GSM frequencies (mainly 900 MHz and 2100 MHz) run out at the end of 2016 and BNA is looking into opening the so-called Digital
