EC launches artificial intelligence pilot to test draft guidelines

The European Commission said it's launching a pilot project to ensure that the ethical guidelines for artificial intelligence development and use presented last year can be implemented in practice. The draft guidelines proposed by the EC's High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence set out how developers and users can make sure AI respects fundamental rights, applicable regulation and core principles, and how the technology can be made technically robust and reliable.
