EC launches EUR 50 mln call to create cybersecurity centres

The European Commission has launched a EUR 50 million call for a pilot to support the creation of a network of cybersecurity competence centres across the EU. First announced in September, the pilot project is part of the Commission's proposals to reinforce the EU's cybersecurity capacity by providing the right tools to keep up with an ever-changing threat. The call is open to consortia including university labs and public or private non-profit research centres, tasked with developing a roadmap with clear milestones to tackle cybersecurity challenges in selected sectors through testing,
