EC objects to Greek plans for leased lines market

The European Commission opened an in-depth investigation concerning Greek regulator EETT's review of the local fixed wholesale high-quality access market. EETT found that the market for terminating segments of leased lines in Greece is not competitive and the incumbent OTE is a significant market power (SMP) operator that should be subject to ex-ante regulation nationally.
