EC report sets out economic benefits of fast broadband

The EU27 are forecast to receive EUR 200 billion to EUR 600 billion in cumulative economic benefits between 2012 and 2020 from the deployment of high-speed broadband across the EU, according to a report for the European Commission by Analysys Mason and Tech4i2. This represents a benefit:cost ratio of between 2.7 and 2.9.
