EC says barriers to cross-border e-commerce remain

The European Commission (EC) said the 2015 edition of its Consumer Scoreboard shows that cross-border e-commerce is still an under-developed market in Europe. It found that 61 percent of consumers feel more confident buying online from their own country than from another EU country. If said that lack of trust, territorial restrictions and price discrimination are barriers to cross-border e-commerce.
