EC sticks to telecom reform proposals as EU states push for changes

The European Commission is sticking to its proposals for reforming telecom regulation, despite a push from from some EU member states to change elements of the proposed Electronic Communications Code. At the Etno summit in Brussels, Digital Economy commissioner Mariya Gabriel said the EC is hoping to speed up the reform process, which has been under discussion for over a year.
