EC to allow 'temporary' roaming of video streaming services

The European Commission has approved a proposal from EU member state representatives to allow temporary roaming on video subscription services such as Netflix, Amazon Video and Sky throughout the 28-member bloc. Under the terms of the proposal, consumers with subscriptions to online video streaming services will be able to view content they have paid for when they are "temporarily" in other countries within the EU. "This means that citizens who are in another member state for purposes such as holidays or business trips can enjoy for example music, films , games or sporting events just like at
