EC to consult on cybersecurity public-private partnerships

The EU's cyber security agency Enisa has welcomed the European Commission's launch of a public consultation on how to best set up a Public Private Partnership (PPP) on cybersecurity. Describing the move as an important step towards securing the Digital Single Market, Enisa said the consultation will be open until 11 March 2016 and will be mainly concerned with where to focus efforts for establishing the PPP, which is expected to become operational in the course of 2016. The consultation will also cover several policy areas, such as cybersecurity standardisation, certification, labelling,
